Our stance

Zero tolerance. Strictly enforced.

IAMR B.Ed. College maintains a zero-tolerance stance on ragging in accordance with the UGC Regulations on Curbing the Menace of Ragging in Higher Educational Institutions, 2009.

Every reported incident is investigated promptly by the Anti-Ragging Committee, with the highest priority placed on the safety, dignity and well-being of every student. Confidentiality of the complainant is preserved at every stage.

On campus

Three ways to reach the committee.

In addition to the UGC helpline above, IAMR B.Ed. College maintains its own reporting channels.

  1. Anti-Ragging Committee

    Visit the Principal’s office to file a complaint with the committee chair.

  2. Anti-Ragging Squad

    On-duty squad with names and numbers posted at the notice board and hostel.

Consequences

Ragging is a punishable offence.

Penalties apply to perpetrators, accomplices and anyone who fails to report a known incident.

Suspension or expulsion

Immediate suspension followed by expulsion for severe or repeated offences.

Criminal proceedings

FIR registered under applicable IPC sections; prosecution as per Indian law.

Mark sheets withheld

Withholding of results, mark sheets and degrees pending the inquiry outcome.

Hostel and admission cancelled

Cancellation of admission and debarment from joining other recognised institutions.

Anti-Ragging Online Undertaking

Every student and parent must submit an online anti-ragging undertaking on antiragging.in before each academic session begins. The portal generates a signed PDF certificate.
