“If you are planning for a year, sow rice. If you are planning for a decade, plant trees. If you are planning for a lifetime, educate people.”

— Chinese proverb

This proverb sums up his entire philosophy of time and life. Shri R. K. Gupta was a visionary and an inspiration to many. Through his hard work and dedication, he created the entire IAMR Group of Institutions — a name filled with respect and admiration across the field of higher education.

He understood the necessity of moving the country forward and ensuring that young people use education and technology well. The IAMR Group develops accessible education and focuses on innovation, with a multi-disciplinary footprint covering Management, Health Sciences, Information Technology, Education, Mass Communication and Law. The Institute of Applied Medicines & Research, the School of Advanced Management, IAMR B.Ed College and IAMR Law College all stand as testimony to his commitment to excellence.

Realising the importance of intervening early in the education system, he also established the “Towards Success Schools” so that children could receive appropriate guidance from primary and secondary years onward. Though he is no longer with us, he remains the guiding star of all our successes — and always will. We miss him deeply.

Dear students — choosing the right career is an uphill task that requires guidance and an honest assessment of individual capabilities.
