Who can apply, what's required, and how the admission cycle is structured.
Who can apply for the B.Ed. programme?
Anyone with a Bachelor's degree in Arts, Science or Commerce from a recognised university is eligible to apply. Working professionals, recent graduates and post-graduates are all welcome.
What is the minimum percentage required at graduation?
A minimum of 50% aggregate marks at graduation, applicable to all categories of candidates, in line with CCS University and NCTE norms.
Is there an entrance test for B.Ed. admission at IAMR?
Admission is through a brief personal interview with the admissions panel — focused on motivation, aptitude and clarity of intent — followed by document verification. There is no separate written entrance test conducted by the college.
Is there an upper age limit?
There is no upper age limit, in line with CCS University and NCTE regulations.
Which documents do I need to submit?
Mark sheets and degree certificates of Class X, Class XII and graduation; a government-issued photo ID; recent passport-size photographs; and the filled application form. Originals are required for verification at the time of admission.
How do I get the application form?
The application form is available from the college office in Ghaziabad and can also be downloaded from the B.Ed. programme page on this website. Submit the completed form along with the prescribed application fee at the college office.

What is the duration of the B.Ed. programme?
The Bachelor of Education programme is a full-time, two-year course spread across four semesters, in line with the CCS University B.Ed. syllabus.
Which university awards the degree?
The B.Ed. degree is awarded by Chaudhary Charan Singh University, Meerut (CCS University), to which the college is affiliated.
Is the college recognised by NCTE and UGC?
Yes. IAMR B.Ed. College is approved by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), New Delhi, and recognised under UGC Section 2(F) since 2012.
What language is the programme taught in?
The medium of instruction is English. Pedagogy subjects allow elective methodology in either English or Hindi to support a range of school placements.
Is teaching practice / school internship part of the syllabus?
Yes. Supervised school internships and teaching-practice placements are core components of both years, structured per CCS University and NCTE guidelines, and supported by mentor-faculty observation and feedback.
Are value-added courses included?
Value-added modules — soft skills, classroom technology, and remedial pedagogy training — are bundled with the core programme at no extra fee.

How is the fee structure organised?
The programme fee is collected per academic year as per the schedule communicated at the time of admission. The current fee schedule is shared by the admission cell on request — please call the office or write to the admissions team for the latest figures.
Are scholarships or instalment options available?
Government scholarships (SC/ST/OBC, minority, etc.) are processed by the college as per state and central guidelines. Instalment requests are considered case-by-case at the time of admission — speak to the admission cell for details.
What payment modes are accepted?
Fees can be paid by demand draft in favour of IAMR B.Ed. College, or by direct bank transfer. The bank account details are shared with the admission letter.

Is hostel accommodation available?
The college does not currently run an in-house hostel. The admission cell can recommend nearby vetted PG/hostel options on request.
What library and laboratory facilities are provided?
The college maintains a well-stocked library with print and digital resources, plus dedicated psychology, science and ICT labs supporting the B.Ed. methodology subjects. Details are on the Library and Laboratories pages.
Are mentoring and counselling supported?
Yes. The Mentoring and Guidance & Counselling cells pair every student with a faculty mentor for academic and personal guidance through the two-year programme.
Are extra-curricular activities part of campus life?
Cultural, literary, sports and outreach activities run year-round through the Activities calendar, alongside seminars and value-added workshops.
