Activities

Community work is an integral part of B.Ed curriculum. The college collaborates with different organizations and places students in varied environments like working with the underprivileged sections of the society, mentally challenged children, environment centers for tree plantation, old age homes etc. Street plays on themes to educate the community like gender issues, cleanliness and sanitation are encouraged. The whole experience is designed to sensitize student teachers to the needs of society and their role as a teacher.

Three days Scout and Guide Training Camp has been organized in IAMR B.Ed. College, Ghaziabad by Scout Trainer. The purpose of organizing such training camp is to make the students be prepared always to help others.

A number of regional, national and international level of seminars, workshops and extension lectures are organized from time to time to give a wider perspective of the innovations and development taking place in different fields to the students as well as teachers. They enlighten and enrich the mind and open new avenues of thought and research in different fields as they provide an opportunity to interact and learn from veterans of the educational community.

Games and sports are compulsory for all the students provision has therefore been made for games and sports under the supervision of the qualified lecturer in Physical Education.

The Annual Sports Function is held every year to test the physical fitness, stamina and athletic skills of the students. All the students are required to participate in it.
