Field Experience

College tour

In order to stimulate national and emotional integration and an exposure to social and cultural experience, a college tour is organized by the college in the month of February every year. Places of historical, cultural and educational value are given special emphasis during the tour. These tours enrich their knowledge base and provide the students with valued experience and information.

The Health and Physical Education Lab at IAMR is designed to help B.Ed students gain practical knowledge and hands-on experience in promoting physical fitness, well-being, and holistic development in school environments. The lab provides future teachers with the tools, equipment, and methodological training needed to conduct physical activities, sports sessions, and health awareness programs effectively.

At IAMR B.Ed. College, Thematic Rallies play a significant role in shaping socially responsible, aware, and active future educators. These rallies are organized throughout the academic year to sensitize students on important social, environmental, and educational themes. They encourage trainee teachers to connect classroom learning with real-life community engagement.

Each rally is designed around a meaningful theme-such as Cleanliness and Hygiene, Women Empowerment, Environmental Protection, Road Safety, Literacy Awareness, Health & Wellness, and other pressing social issues. Students prepare posters, slogans, banners, and street plays, actively spreading awareness among local communities.

Thematic Rallies provide B.Ed. trainees with valuable opportunities to develop leadership qualities, communication skills, teamwork, and public engagement abilities. They also foster civic responsibility and help students understand the role of a teacher as a change-maker in society.

Through these purposeful initiatives, IAMR B.Ed. College reinforces its commitment to holistic teacher training, empowering students to become educators who inspire positive change within and beyond the classroom.

The lab plays a vital role in strengthening the pedagogical skills of B.Ed students, ensuring they understand the importance of physical education in a child's overall growth-physically, mentally, emotionally, and socially. It empowers them to become confident facilitators who can integrate sports, fitness, and health awareness into the school curriculum.
