IAMR B.Ed. College
Mentoring & Placement

Personal mentorship, career launchpad.

Every trainee gets a dedicated mentor for the full academic year — and a Career Development & Placement Cell that opens doors well before graduation.

Mentor System

One mentor, one group, one year

  • A weekly Tutorial Period in the timetable. Students are divided into groups, with one mentor per group counselling and resolving issues.

  • The mentor stays with the same group for the full academic year — discussing academic performance, personal, educational and vocational concerns.

  • On Parents Day, one-to-one mentor–parent interactions happen. The mentor delivers a hand-written letter of gratitude from each ward.

  • Trainees apply for any leave or concession through a written application addressed to the mentor.

Career Cell

Career Development & Placement

  • Established 2011-12 — works year-round to facilitate students' entry into the job market via campus placements.

  • Conducts seminars and lectures to build employability skills.

  • Job openings from institutes and companies are posted on notice boards and the college website.

  • Training in interview skills, resume writing, mock interviews and career counselling — supported by a qualified counsellor.

  • Teacher requirements received by phone or in person are passed on promptly — students are contacted with interview details right away.

Individual Record Diary

Every trainee keeps a diary tracking lectures, lessons, practicals, term marks and activities — reviewed at the end of every week.
